H.R. 2609 the DHS Acquisition Review Board Act of 2019. This bill requires the DHS to establish an Acquisition Review Board to strengthen accountability and uniformity within the DHS acquisition review process, review major acquisition programs, and review the use of best practices.

H.R. 2941 the Servicewomen’s Health Transition Training Act of 2019. This bill directs the Secretary of Defense and the Secretaries of the military departments to encourage female members who separate or retire from the Armed Forces during fiscal year 2020 to participate in the Women’s Health Transition Training pilot program of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Sponsored by Rep. Chrissy Houlahan and Rep. Gil Cisneros; the bill has been referred to the Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity.

H.R. 3276 the Fair and Accurate Medicaid Pricing Act. This bill amends the Social Security Act to exclude authorized generic drugs from calculation of the average manufacturer price for purposes of the Medicaid drug rebate program.This bipartisan legislation would close a loophole that costs taxpayers up to $600 million each year.

The IMPROVE Well-Being for Veterans Act. This bill would fundamentally enhance coordination and planning of veteran mental health and suicide prevention services and would develop measurement tools to track the effectiveness of these community-level programs in order to address the suicide crisis and its impact on veterans.

The National Post-Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI) Awareness Month. This bill reduces the stigma that prevents veterans and service members from seeking mental health care. The bill designates June as National Post-Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI) Awareness month and June 27th as National PTSI Awareness Day.

H.R. 3070the CAPABILITY Act of 2019. This bill would amend the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 to establish a demonstration program to assist transition-aged youth with covered disabilities in obtaining customized, competitive integrated employment.
