With Honor Action Announces Over $250,000 in New Ads Highlighting Rep. Gil Cisneros’ Continued Leadership During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Congressman Cisneros has a Strong Bipartisan Record in Congress of Fighting for Veterans and Frontline Healthcare Workers

CHARLOTTE, NC – With Honor Action launched a TV, direct mail, text, and phone advocacy campaign discussing Representative Gil Cisneros’ bipartisan work on legislation that protects our community and healthcare professionals, as well as his continued efforts to honor the service of veterans and sacrifice of Gold Star families.

“Congressman Cisneros learned in the Navy what it takes to serve America,” said Rye Barcott, With Honor Action Co-Founder and CEO. “During this health crisis, Congressman Cisneros worked with the bipartisan For Country Caucus of military veterans to establish a reserve corps of doctors and nurses to serve America’s hardest hit communities. His bipartisan work has led to passage of important legislation including the Gold Star Family Tax Relief Act to ease financial burdens on families who have lost a loved one in military service.”

The cable ad “Protect” highlighting Congressman Cisneros’ leadership on issues that are vital to America will run for 10 days starting June 3rd in Los Angeles. Below is an example of the mailer that is being distributed in California’s 39th congressional district.

Congressman Cisneros served as a commissioned Naval officer for a decade upon earning a ROTC scholarship.
