Role Objectives
The Digital Engagement Manager will play a central role in shaping how audiences engage with With Honor Action by driving:
- Increased brand awareness and recognition of With Honor’s mission
- Growth of social media audiences across priority platforms
- Stronger, more accessible storytelling around veteran leadership and bipartisan impact
- Higher engagement with content highlighting legislative wins, policy priorities, and national service efforts
- Greater website traffic and supporter actions driven through social media and digital content
- Improved digital performance through analytics, experimentation, and optimization
- Strong community engagement aligned with With Honor’s cross-partisan values
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow With Honor’s presence across all major social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging channels)
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy and monthly editorial calendar aligned with organizational priorities and campaigns
- Create original, high-quality multimedia content—including videos, and copy—that reflects With Honor’s brand voice, values, and mission
- Collaborate with the communications and policy teams to highlight legislative wins, veteran stories, events, and bipartisan achievements
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to inform strategy and drive audience growth and engagement
- Maintain brand integrity across all digital platforms; ensure consistency in visual identity and tone
- Manage photo, video, and design assets, coordinating with external vendors or creative partners as needed
- Respond to audience engagement in real time, fostering a positive, respectful community aligned with With Honor’s cross-partisan mission
- Support updates to website and newsletter content in coordination with communications staff
- Assist with media and event promotion, including real-time digital coverage of key organizational and congressional events

Experience and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital communications—ideally in a nonprofit, political, public affairs, or advocacy context
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media and content strategies
- Proficiency with content creation tools, digital marketing platforms, and analytics dashboards
- Experience managing social media for advocacy, campaigns, public policy, or issue-based organizations preferred
- Experience in communications on a political campaign or on Capitol Hill is preferred
- Background in journalism, editorial work, or newsroom-style content production is a strong plus, especially experience translating complex policy issues into accessible storytelling
Terms
- 3 month starting contract with opportunity to renew
- Minimum 25 hours per week
- $30-$35 hourly rate of pay
- Potential conversion to full time employment
